Long before NXT was the developmental branch for WWE, it was Ohio Valley Wrestling. Founded in 1997 by Nightmare Danny Davis, OVW sereved as WWE's farm territory from 2000 until 2008 when it was replaced by Florida Championship Wrestling. During it's partnership with WWE, it created some of WWE's future biggest stars such as John Cena, Brock Lesnar, and Randy Orton. It also featured future WWE tag teams such as MNM, Cryme Tyme, and Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins, who all held the OVW Southern Tag Team Championships.
