My Thoughts on NXT (5/31/17): Irreplaceable

We kick off the show with Tommaso Ciampa coming down to the ring on crutches. Dueling "Pyscho Killer/Ciampa Sucks" chants break out as he takes a mic. He asks Johnny Gargano to come down to the ring...except he's not here tonight. He says he's learned more life lessons in the last two weeks than he had in his 32 years of life. He talks about his injury he got before Takeover: Chicago, only for people to dream about replacing him in the match due to his injury. He says he's not an afterthought before saying that when they lost, he knew he aggravated his injury. He knew he was going away for a long time, but he kept fighting for Gargano & the fans. He says that when he looked at Gargano after the match and realized that Gargano was going to replace him. He says Gargano wouldn't hesitate to replace him, and he knew what had to be done. He says it's Gargano & the fans fault that he turned on Gargano and that if he was going away for a long time, t

My Thoughts on SmackDown (5/30/17): Sweet Richard Simmons

We kick off the show with promos from the women in the #1 contenders match tonight Charlotte Flair says she's genetically superior and she will win tonight Carmella makes puns Natalya says that winning tonight will prove why she's the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be. Becky Lynch says she's representing the Fighting Irish, but she doesn't need the luck of the Irish to win tonight Tamina says everyone has had their opportunities at the title, and it's time she gets hers We kick off the show with Kevin Owens' Highlight Reel. Owens says Chris Jericho invented the Money in the Bank ladder match, but never won it. He, however, will win the match at Money in the Bank, and when he does and cashes in, he'll become the face of the entire WWE. He brings out his guest tonight, Shinsuke Nakamura. Also, real quick; I don't understand these new nicknames Nakamura has. "The Artist?" "The Rockstar?" How?

My Thoughts on RAW (5/29/17): Just Top Guy Things

We kick off RAW with MizTV. Miz says him & Maryse are feeling good because this Sunday, he gets his hands on Dean Ambrose. He calls Ambrose a lying, backstabbing, cheating thief who stole his Intercontinental Championship. He reiterates that if Ambrose gets disqualified at Extreme Rules, then Miz wins the title before bringing out his guests tonight, Sheamus & Cesaro. Miz says they deserve to be champions more than anyone else...except for him. He says the Hardys stole their spotlight before Sheamus says the fans turned their backs on them when the Hardys came back. He calls the Hardys a new toy, which he & Cesaro will break and win the RAW Tag Team Championships. Miz says that all three of them are victimized by the fans before saying that he'll revitalize the Intercontinental Championship when he wins it back at Extreme Rules. He is interrupted by Dean Ambrose, who tells them all to shut their mouths. Miz points out that there three of them and one of him, but Am

Classic Pay-Per-View Review: WrestleMania 2

Welcome to another classic pay-per-view review. With the first WrestleMania and the Wrestling Classic in the books, it's time to take a look at what some consider to be the worst WrestleMania of all time; WrestleMania 2. Proving that bigger doesn't always mean better, WrestleMania 2 took a unique approach and emanated from three different locations in one night. Of course, unique doesn't always mean good, and with the roster split across three venues, the show leaves a lot to be desired. Let's get into this, this is WrestleMania 2. Part 1: New York We kick off the show at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. Vince McMahon welcomes us to WrestleMania II before introducing us to his fellow commentator for the night, Susan Saint James. As you probably know, Saint James' commentary has become infamous over the years, mainly due to the fact that she seems to have zero idea what wrestling is. Her go-to phrase is "Uh Oh!," which sh

RAW vs Nitro #47 (9/9/96)

Get ready to hang & bang, cause it's a new edition of RAW vs Nitro!  Click here to read the last one if you missed it. So let's get into it, this is RAW vs Nitro #47. RAW Faarooq Asad with Sunny vs Savio Vega-Intercontinental Championship Tournament 1st Round Match-Up- Faarooq starts beating down Vega before going to the headlock. Faarooq continues to beat on Vega before catching Vega off a crossbody and tossing him down. Vega fights back and hits a spinning heel kick for a near fall, but Faarooq dodges the second attempt and hits a spinebuster for a near fall. Faarooq follows up with a snap suplex before the commercial break. We come back to Faarooq working over Vega with a headlock, using the ropes for leverage. Vega is able to come back with a dropkick for a near fall, but Faarooq quickly regains control with a headbutt for a near fall. Faarooq goes back to the headlock, again using the ropes for leverage with Sunny's help. Vega breaks free and hits a hip to

My Thoughts on NXT (5/24/17): In Case You Missed Chicago

Let me just preface this post by saying that about 75% of this show is recap packages of Takeover: Chicago and WWE.com exclusive interviews from after the show. So pretty much, if you like seeing Kayla Braxton, then this is the show for you. Aleister Black vs Curt Hawkins- Black runs through Hawkins right away, springboarding over him and hitting a big knee strike. Hawkins is able to get Black onto the apron, but Black is able to kick him away before hitting a high knee strike. Black sets up for Black Mass, but Hawkins rolls out of the ring to avoid it. Black follows him out, so Hawkins goes back in the ring. Black goes back in, so Hawkins leaves again. Black goes out after him again, but this time Hawkins catches him and rams him into the side of the ring. Back in the ring, Hawkins works over Black and slaps on a headlock. Black quickly regains control, kicking away at Hawkins before hitting a springboard moonsault. Black finishes Hawkins off with Black Mass for the three and th
