My Thoughts on NXT (3/29/17): The Day The Music Died

Johnny Gargano with Tommaso Ciampa vs Dash Wilder with Scott Dawson vs Akam with Rezar & Paul Ellering- Gargano & Wilder double team at the start, ending with Wilder dropkicking him out of the ring. Wilder holds the ropes open for a suicide dive by Gargano, only to try to kick him when Gargano goes for it. However, Gargano reads it clotheslines Wilder down. Gargano runs through Wilder until Akam clobbers Gargano with a clothesline. Dawson saves Wilder from a corner splash and the Revival head to the back, saying they're done before the commercial break. We come back to Gargano beating down Akam in the ring. Akam locks in a Torture Rack, but Gargano fights out, only to get caught on a diving crossbody attempt. Gargano escapes Akam's grasp before hitting a slingshot spear for a near fall. Gargano beats down Akam in the corner, only to run right into a big boot later on. Akam goes for a crucifix powerbomb, but Gargano rolls out and hits three superkicks. Gargano ma

RAW vs Nitro #32 (5/13/96)

Welcome back to another edition of RAW vs Nitro. Click here to read the last one if you missed it. So let's get into it, this is RAW vs Nitro #32. RAW Zip with Skip vs Ahmed Johnson- Before the match, Jim Ross tries to interview Johnson before Sunny saves us from having to hear Johnson speak for too long. She just starts rubbing baby oil on his pec like as soon as she walks up. Johnson gives the exact reaction you'd give if someone just walked up and started rubbing your man boob...or regular boob, we don't discriminate here at the Wrestling Section #feminism. Sunny says Johnson missed a spot, but Johnson calls her trash. The two lock up before Zip flips out of a back suplex, only for Johnson to clothesline him to the ground. Suddenly, Sunny runs out and yells at Johnson. This also distracts the referee, allowing Skip to switch places with Zip. Skip takes the fight right to Johnson and locks in a camel clutch. However, Johnson is able to stand up and hit an elect

My Thoughts on SmackDown (3/28/17): Untouchable

We kick off the show with the contract signing for the match between Shane McMahon & AJ Styles at WrestleMania. Daniel Bryan brings out both men and they sit down to talk. Shane says Styles is one of the best wrestlers of all time, which Styles agrees with. However, Shane says AJ's ego got too big and it cost him the WWE Championship. He says his ego couldn't handle not having a match at WrestleMania, and that's why he attacked him. Shane says he forces everyone he steps in the ring with to bring their A-game and if Styles doesn't bring his A-game, then Shane will win. Shane signs the contract and slides it to Styles. Styles warns Shane that he can't use weapons like he usually does, it'll be a straight up singles match in the world of AJ Styles. He says he is untouchable in the ring and while Shane has faced tons of legends, he's never faced him. He says he'll show Shane how phenomenal he really is at WrestleMania. Styles signs the contract and

My Thoughts on Impact Wrestling (3/9/17): The Action Stops

February 16th, 2017: "Never again. This was so bad...Don't expect another one of these reviews anytime soon."-Me One Month Later. Yeah...I'm reviewing Impact Wrestling again. Now, the last time I watched Impact , I hated it. But now that the show has basically been revamped with new owners and new wrestlers, I thought it would only be fair to give it another shot. With that being said, let's get right into this.  We kick off the show with Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards brawling in the crowd. This seems a lot like the regular Impact already. Edwards crotches Richards on a guardrail before chopping him. Richards tries to suplex Edwards over the railing, but Edwards knocks him down and dives onto him. They fight onto the entrance ramp before security breaks them up. We then go the commentators, mega-c*nt Josh Matthews and "Da Pope", aka D'Angelo Dinero or Elijah Burke from the WWECW. Matthews suddenly notices that there is a third he

My Thoughts on RAW (3/27/16): Death of a Superhero

We kick off the show with Bayley. She says WrestleMania gives her butterflies and says that the odds are stacked against her in a Fatal 4-Way, which is now an elimination match. She is interrupted by Charlotte, who calls her a paper champion and says Sasha Banks made her a pawn. She says Sasha helped Bayley win the title so she could get back in the title picture and that she should still be the Women's Champion. She says she'll win the title at WrestleMania and that Bayley will have nothing after WrestleMania. She then throws up a tweet from Sasha Banks saying "keep your friends close and your enemies closer", saying she used Charlotte and now she's using Bayley. This brings out Sasha Banks, who says Charlotte is just trying to stir the pot and that she'll beat both Charlotte & Bayley at WrestleMania. Nia Jax then comes out, who says their drama is pathetic and that she'll eliminate every one of them. Charlotte says Nia's only in the match

RAW vs Nitro #31 (5/6/96)

Welcome back to another edition of RAW vs Nitro. Click here to read the last one if you missed it. So let's get into it, this is RAW vs Nitro #31. RAW Before the show, we see blacked out figure claiming to be the "ex-wife of a former professional wrestler". saying she'll be explaining how Shawn Michaels ruined her marriage and her life. The 1-2-3 Kid with Ted Dibiase vs Marc Mero with Sable- Hunter Hearst Helmsley and his lady friend are sitting in on commentary for this match. Mero floors the Kid with a punch to start before flooring him with a shoulder tackle. Mero follows up with an arm drag followed by a wristlock takedown. Mero continues to control the match before dropkicking the Kid out of the ring and hitting a plancha onto him. Back in the ring, the Kid blocks a slingshot splash with his knees and works over Mero with a bunch of kicks. The Kid locks in a sleeper hold while using the ropes for leverage. After a long time with the sleeper locked in, M

RAW vs Nitro #30 (4/29/96)

Welcome back to another edition of RAW vs Nitro. Click here to read the last edition if you missed it. So let's get into it, this is RAW vs Nitro #30. But first! A quick recap of In Your House 7: Good Friends, Better Enemies, which happened the night before this RAW Owen Hart & The British Bulldog defeated Jake Roberts & Ahmed Johnson after the Bulldog hit Roberts knee with Jim Cornette's tennis racket before submitting Roberts with a standing kneebar The Ultimate Warrior defeated Goldust in an Intercontinental Championship match by countout in one of the worst matches I've ever seen . Vader defeated Razor Ramon after Vader sat on Ramon The BodyDonnas retained the WWF Tag Team Championships against the Godwinns. Henry Godwinn got the visual three on Zip after a Slop Drop, but outside commotion between Sunny, Hillbilly Jim, and Phineas Godwinn caused the referee to miss the pin. Skip took the opportunity to switch places with Zip before rolling up Henry

My Thoughts on RAW (3/20/17): The Fault in our Superstars

We kick off the show with Mick Foley. He comes out and reads a pre-written statement, thanking Triple H & Stephanie McMahon for letting him be the general manager of RAW. He apologizes for giving Trips the Mandible Claw last week and says he doesn't want his problems with Stephanie to get in the way of WrestleMania. Foley announces that he is taking a leave of absence before ripping up the index cards. He says he'll say what he wants until his mic cuts out. Outcomes Stephanie McMahon, who chews him out for attacking Triple H and not just reading the statement. She says he can't remember anything he's supposed to say and only cares about being liked, not what's best for business. Stephanie does what everyone expected, and fires Foley. Foley starts to leave the ring before outcomes Sami Zayn. He says what she's doing to Foley is wrong and she's been wrong about a lot of things, and he's going to the one to finally tell her to her face. Stephanie b
