  Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all had a fun & safe holiday season. And because it's the merriest day of the year, I thought it was only fitting to take a look at a Christmas-themed match for this edition of the Worst in the World. So I decided to take a trip back to TNA's 2007 Christmas episode. The whole episode is a ton of silly, Yuletide fun with every match on the show being Christmas-themed, all while Eric Young throws an episode-long Christmas party. There's one match on the show, however, that stands out for just how ridiculous it ends up being. Officially, it's called the "Silent Night, Bloody Night" match, but this match is probably better known as the "Barbed Wire Christmas Tree" match (so much so that IMPACT themselves uploaded the whole match on YouTube as the Barbed Wire Christmas Tree match ) for its inclusion of a Christmas Tree made out of barbed wire as a weapon...that was also hanging in the middle of the ring for some ...

I did say I was coming back to this. Long time readers of the Wrestling Section will hopefully remember the Worst in the World , my first really series where I went through 99 of the worst matches in wrestling history and ranked them one by one. I wrapped up that series in October but always had the intention of coming back to it, since there are always going to be terrible matches in the future. And with the Wrestling Observer releasing their yearly awards, I thought it was the perfect time to look at the match that won the worst match of 2016. So here it is; Rebel vs Shelly Martinez from Knockouts Knockdown. So let me explain what Knockouts Knockdown is first. It was one of TNA's dumb One Night Only shows that they tape before they air and nothing important happens on them. Sometimes they give someone a meaningless prize, but that's not really anything. February 16th, 2017: "Never again. This was so bad...Don't expect another one of these reviews anytime soon."-Me One Month Later. Yeah...I'm reviewing Impact Wrestling again. Now, the last time I watched Impact , I hated it. But now that the show has basically been revamped with new owners and new wrestlers, I thought it would only be fair to give it another shot. With that being said, let's get right into this.  We kick off the show with Eddie Edwards & Davey Richards brawling in the crowd. This seems a lot like the regular Impact already. Edwards crotches Richards on a guardrail before chopping him. Richards tries to suplex Edwards over the railing, but Edwards knocks him down and dives onto him. They fight onto the entrance ramp before security breaks them up. We then go the commentators, mega-c*nt Josh Matthews and "Da Pope", aka D'Angelo Dinero or Elijah Burke from the WWECW. Matthews suddenly notices that there is a third he...

Yep...I did it. Now, that I've got Playstation Vue (not sponsored...but could  be sponsored) and I get Pop TV, I might as well start reviewing Impact Wrestling...that was a mistake. It was so bad. Let's just get into this. Crazzy Steve & Rosemary with Abyss vs Moose & Brandi Rhodes- Brandi & Rosemary start off, but Crazy Steve quickly tags in. Moose gets in, but a distraction from Rosemary allows Steve to get some offense, but Moose quickly takes control with a shoulder tackle. Moose continues to control the match until Steve leaves the ring. Moose follows him out but gets clotheslined by Abyss. Steve then hits a cannonball into the stairs before rolling Moose back in the ring. Steve starts chopping Moose before Moose turns the tables and starts chopping Steve. Abyss trips up Moose, allowing Steve to hit two knee strikes and a dropkick. Moose schoolboys Steve before lifting him up and powerbombs him to the outside onto Abyss.
