My (Extra-Spooky) Thoughts on RAW (10/31/16): 2RAW4Me

We kicked off the show with Goldberg. Then Paul Heyman came out. I missed the majority of this segment, my cable went out, but I'm assuming Heyman said nice things about Brock Lesnar and Goldberg said stuff about Lesnar being next. Rusev came out and tried to fight Goldberg. He failed and ate a Jackhammer before Heyman took a spear. Luke Gallows vs Enzo Amore in a "Trick or Street Fight"- The two quickly go to the outside, where Enzo beats Gallows with a skeleton and dunks his head in a bucket of apples before the commercial break. We come back to Gallows crotching himself on the barricade. Gallows quickly takes control again and shoves pumpkin insides in Enzo's face. Back in the ring, Gallows beats on Enzo with a kendo stick and a plastic fence. Enzo avoids one shot and starts throwing pumpkins at Enzo until Gallows hits him again. Enzo runs wild before throwing a pie in Anderson's face. Cass boots Anderson off the apron through a table before Enzo low blow...

RAW vs Nitro #3 (9/25/95)

Get Grandma out of the bathroom, cause its time for another edition of RAW vs Nitro! The last two weeks, Nitro has been better in my opinion. Let's see if Nitro can keep up its streak. Let's get into it, this is RAW vs Nitro #3! Let's start with RAW! But first, a recap of what happened at In Your House 3, which happened the day before this episode of RAW Razor Ramon hit the Razor's Edge on Dean Douglas and got the visual three, but the referee was down and couldn't count it. For whatever reason, the 1-2-3 Kid ran down and counted the pin. Razor stopped pinning because he thought he won, then shoved the Kid out of the ring after he realized he wasn't the referee. This allowed Douglas to get the roll up win with a hand full of tights. After the match, Razor and the Kid start fighting before being broken up by security. During the triple header between WWF Champion Diesel & Intercontinental Champion Shawn Michaels and Tag Team Champions Yokozuna &...

My Thoughts on NXT (10/26/16): A Little Bit Hardcore Country

#DIY vs HoHo Lun & Tian Bing- Yes, Tian Bing, aka Bin Wang, WWE's first ever Chinese superstar makes his debut in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Also, I'm sorry, I love Gargano & Ciampa, but "Do It Yourself" is a pretty bad name a for a tag team . It's kind of hard to do something yourself when you're in a team. Just saying. Ciampa & Bing start with Bing dropping Ciampa with a shoulder tackle followed by a roundhouse kick. Lun tags in, but Ciampa takes control with a forearm strike. Gargano tags in and does a roll-up into an enziguri followed by a neckbreaker by Ciampa for a near fall. Gargano & Lun exchange strikes before Lun hits a dropkick. Bing tags in and he & Lun hit a CM Punk-high knee in the corner each followed by a superkick by Bing and a missile dropkick from Lun for a near fall. Bing works over Gargano with kicks until Gargano dodges a roundhouse and hits an enziguri. Ciampa gets the hot tag and runs wild on Lun, hittin...

RAW vs Nitro #2 (9/18/95)

Welcome back to RAW vs Nitro! Last time, Nitro got the win from me. Let's see if the same happens this time. This is RAW vs Nitro #2! RAW 1-2-3 Kid vs Razor Ramon- We kick off with the match that got set up last week between Razor Ramon & the 1-2-3 Kid. Heelishly, the 1-2-3 Kid rushes Razor as he gets in the ring, kicking him a bunch before kicking Razor out of the ring. Razor re-enters the ring, catches 1-2-3 Kid off a crossbody attempt, taking him to the top rope, and hitting a top rope fallaway slam for a near fall. Razor manhandles the Kid before punching him straight out of the ring. The Kid goes for a tilt-a-whirl arm drag, but Razor blocks it and hits a chokeslam for a near fall. The Kid manages to send Razor out of the ring and hits a slingshot dropkick to the outside. The Kid hits a heel kick back in the ring but hooks Razor's foot on the rope while making the pin. The Kid locks in a sleeper hold, and Razor eventually fights out and hits a side suplex. Ra...

My Thoughts on RAW (10/24/16): Stu...pid Idiot

(Sorry I missed last week's review. I was busy and didn't catch RAW. Also, there won't be a SmackDown review tomorrow either.) We kick off the show with Chris Jericho WITHOUT THE LIST OF JERICHO! DAMMIT! Well, it was nice while it lasted. Jericho says that the triple threat between him, Kevin Owens, and Seth Rollins has been canceled due to something so terrible it could ruin people's lives...SOMEBODY STOLE THE LIST OF JERICHO!!! UNFORGIVABLE! WHOEVER DID IT SHOULD BE SUSPENDED FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR! Jericho threatens to stay in the ring until he gets his list back, and outcomes Kevin Owens. Jericho asks if Owens took the list, but Owens says he doesn't have it and doesn't care who does. He knows Jericho does, though, and offers to help Jericho find it after the triple threat tonight. Jericho maintains that he won't wrestle until he gets the list back, and that brings out Stephanie McMahon. She says she'll do everything she can to get the list b...

RAW vs Nitro #1 (9/11/95)

Well, it's time for RAW vs Nitro! The series where I review competing episodes of Monday Night RAW & WCW Monday Nitro from the Monday Night Wars. This week, it's the September 11th, 1995 editions of both shows. Which one was better? Let's find out. But first, a little catch-up for everything that's happened that won't be in the series: It's safe to say that 1995 wasn't exactly the best year to be a wrestling fan, especially for WWF fans. After the steroid trial and the departure of Hulk Hogan, business took a big hit. WWF's television ratings hit a low that wouldn't be seen again until the 2010s and they had few real stars, and it didn't help that two of them were leaving for WCW in the very near future. As for WCW, they had just premiered Nitro the week before when RAW took a week off and Hulk Hogan was in the middle of his feud with the Dungeon of Doom, who he would fight alongside Randy Savage, Sting, and Lex Luger, who had retu...

Worst in the World Conclusion (Plus, The Next Series!)

Well, yesterday I finished the last match in the Worst in the World. I do plan on coming back to this eventually, but for now, the absolute worst wrestling match I've ever seen is... Jenna Morasca vs Sharmell from Victory Road 2009! In honor of them, here's a gif that is as visually appalling as the match was. So, now that I've sifted through 99 terrible matches, hours of awful wrestling, and far more Bushwhackers matches than any person should have to see, I need a new series to get into in between writing reviews of RAW, SmackDown, and NXT and the occasional rant, so I've decided to do... RAW VS NITRO  Anyone who's seen the Monday Night Wars on the WWE Network would know that it wasn't exactly the most unbiased show. From claiming that all of WCW's top stars that weren't Goldberg were taken from the WWF to criticizing WCW for doing things the WWF did (raiding talent, for starters), I guess it proved the saying is true; history is written...

Worst in the World: Dusty Rhodes vs The Honky Tonk Man-SummerSlam 1989

Well, it's finally here; the last match on the list for the Worst in the World! Yes, this nine-month journey through some of the worst professional wrestling has to offer comes to a close after this entry. It's been one hell of a ride, but this is it. The final match in the series is Dusty Rhodes vs the Honky Tonk Man from SummerSlam 1989. Dusty had just come into the WWF after his main event run in Jim Crockett Promotions, and in only his third match in the WWF, he faced off against the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion of all time in the Honky Tonk Man. It's too legends, so it can't be that bad. Let's get into this. The two dance around the ring before locking up. Dusty back body drops Honky and goes for the Bionic Elbow,  but Honky avoids it and bails from the ring. Dusty locks in a wristlock before tussling Honky's hair and hitting an atomic drop followed by a Bionic Elbow. Dusty gets 10 punches in the corner before locking in...something: H...
