Worst in the World: The Imitation Game: The Times The Undertaker and Kane Wrestled Themselves

Yes, in the crazy world of the WWE, the company has booked a wrestler to face off with an imposter version of themselves multiple times. Today, I'll be looking at two of those instances, the first featuring The Undertaker, and the second featuring Kane. I'd considered adding a third imposter showdown, the Sin Cara vs Sin Cara match from Hell in a Cell 2011, but to my surprise, that match has fairly solid reviews. I'll cover it if anyone wants me to, but for now, I'm passing. So, let's take a look at these imposter showdowns. Worst in the World: The Undertaker vs Kane: A Classic Rivalry With Bad Matches

The Undertaker vs Kane. When Kane debuted at Badd Blood 1997 to cost his brother The Undertaker a Hell in a Cell match against Shawn Michaels, it began a rivalry that would span 13 years, and multiple eras of wrestling. It was a rivalry that led to an iconic tag team in the Brothers of Destruction and saw both men involved join the WWE Hall of Fame. It was a rivalry that spanned multiple WrestleManias. It was also a rivalry that, pretty consistently, resulted in bad wrestling matches. I've said this before, but The Undertaker vs Kane's iconic rivalry tends to overshadow the fact that the matches usually aren't good. There have obviously been pretty solid matches between the two, most notably their match at WrestleMania XIV and the first Inferno match, but that's about it.
