If you were to make the case for the most recent edition of Tough Enough being awful, ZZ would probably be exhibit A. Despite being out of shape, having zero in ring skills, and was being a poor wrestling trainee in general, ZZ managed to make it to the final two, beating out much more talented rookies like Patrick, Mada, and Tanner. Even though he didn't win, he managed to grab a contract, most likely due to his popularity with the fans. And five months after he signed his contract, he made his debut at a NXT live event in Orlando. How did it go? I'll let his opponent Christopher Girard (better known as Biff Busick) tell you how the match went.
From the Twitter of Christopher Girard (@_StarDESTROYER):
"ZZ is hands down the very worst competitor I've ever been in a ring with. Yes, even worse than Mojo Rawley"
Amazing. Well, all I can really say is best of luck in your future endeavors, Christopher Girard.
