WrestleMania 32 Predictions

Pre-Show

Match #1: The Usos vs The Dudley Boyz
Winner: The Dudley Boyz

"Come back to WWE", they said. "You'll be treated like legends", they said. Despite being one of the most successful tag teams in wrestling history, The Dudley Boyz have been used as a filler tag team since coming back the night after SummerSlam, and that is such a shame. Now instead of being featured in a big match on the card, they've been regulated to the pre-show against the Usos, who are fighting on the pre-show for the third straight year. I'm going with a Dudley Boyz win because they need a win badly

Match #2: The Total Divas vs Team B.A.D and Blonde
Winner: The Total Divas

In a five on five tag match, the team of Brie Bella, Natalya, Alicia Fox, Paige, and Eva Marie take on Naomi, Tamina, Lana, Emma, and Summer Rae. Since this match is pretty pointless, I'm picking the Total Divas to win, with Lana eating the pin.

Match #3: Kalisto (c) vs Ryback-United States Championship
Winner: Kalisto

It's a shame the United States Championship only matters when John Cena is involved. Despite interest in this match being pretty low, I think this could be a pretty solid match. Not match of the night by any means, but pretty OK. As for the winner, I'm picking Kalisto. I think taking the belt off of him right now would be a bad idea, and it would better to let him have a long run as champion.

Main Card

Match #1: Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Now, since there are so many people in the match and there's no clear winner, I'm going to give a few picks for who I think could win.
Braun Strowman: If WWE wants to keep booking this guy like an unstoppable beast, putting him into the Battle Royal and dominating would be a good move
Mark Henry: In what will likely be his last WrestleMania, I think it would be fitting to have him go out with a win in his home state.
Bray Wyatt: It's a meaningless match, so why not have the king of winning meaningless matches win.
One of the Social Outcasts: Just make it a huge shocker. Have Curtis Axel sneak up on Kane or someone and get the surprised win.
An NXT Superstar: Having someone like Baron Corbin or Samoa Joe debut and win the Battle Royal could definitely help their careers on the main roster (if booked right).

Match #2: AJ Styles vs Chris Jericho
Winner: AJ Styles

Despite seemingly ending their feud at Fastlane, AJ Styles and Chris Jericho are going to fight one last time at WrestleMania. I was thinking their would be some kind of stipulation (maybe a Loser Leaves match so they could write Jericho off of TV, and to make sense in story because Jericho would want Styles out of WWE), but a singles match is fine. Their three previous matches were great, and their WrestleMania match should be no different. I'm going with Styles for the win, because it wouldn't make sense for him to lose his first WrestleMania match. Could you imagine them signing a huge star just to have him lose his WrestleMania debut?
Oh...right.

Match #3: 7-Man Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match
Winner: Sami Zayn

Well, we're getting Kevin Owens vs Sami Zayn at WrestleMania!...with five other people involved. Owens defends the Intercontinental Championship against Zayn, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, Stardust, Sin Cara, and Zack Ryder in a ladder match. I'd have much preferred just a singles match between Zayn and Owens, but this is fine. As for the winner, I'm going with Zayn. However, I also predict that they will tease Zack Ryder winning the title at least once. That will probably pop the crowd

Match #4: The New Day vs The League of Nations-4-on-3 Handicap Match
Winner: The New Day

Because we haven't seen this match enough times, The New Day faces The League of Nations in a 4-on-3 handicap match. Even though nothing is on the line, I'm still going with a New Day win. The League of Nations have been booked like jobbers throughout their existence, so why book them any stronger now.

Match #5: Charlotte (c) vs Sasha Banks vs Becky Lynch-Divas Championship
Winner: Sasha Banks

In one of the few matches booked perfectly, Charlotte defends the Divas Championship against Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch, in what will hopefully be the last time the Divas Championship is seen, considering the rumored return of the Women's Championship. I'm picking Sasha to win, since she's the most over out of the three, and the best worker. She'd be the perfect pick to usher in the new era of women's wrestling in WWE

Match #6: Dean Ambrose vs Brock Lesnar-No Holds Barred Street Fight
Winner: Dean Ambrose

This one is going to be exciting. In arguably the best booked feud leading up to WrestleMania, Dean Ambrose takes on Brock Lesnar in a No Holds Barred Street Fight. In what should be a straight brutal match, I'm going with a Dean Ambrose win. Not only does Ambrose need a big win to cement himself as a main event star, but having this be a street fight provides the perfect opportunity for Ambrose to get the pin on Lesnar.

Match #7: Shane McMahon vs The Undertaker-Hell in a Cell
Winner: Shane McMahon

In what might be the most anticipated match on the card, it's Control vs Career as Shane "Baby Punches" McMahon takes on the Undertaker in Hell in a Cell, with Shane fighting for control of Monday Night RAW while Undertaker fights to make sure 32 isn't his last WrestleMania. While it does seem way to outrageous to pick Shane McMahon to not only beat the Undertaker, but do it at WrestleMania. I don't know how he does it, but I think he's going to pull it out.

Match #8: Triple H (c) vs Roman Reigns-WWE Championship
Winner: Roman Reigns

This is going to be brutal. And not in the Dean Ambrose-Brock Lesnar brutal. Like...bad brutal. No matter what WWE tries to do, they just cannot get people to cheer Roman Reigns. He's being booed out of the building everywhere he goes. On the other side, biggest heel in the company Triple H is being cheered for beating up Reigns. It just isn't working. But no matter how much the fans reject him, Roman Reigns remains the company's choice to be the new top star. He's more than likely the going to win the WWE Championship. No shenanigans, no interference, no cash in to save us this time. I guess we just have to deal with it.
And those are my predictions for WrestleMania 32

Worst in the World: The Last Rites Match-TNA Destination X 2007

(Special thanks to an anonymous user for suggesting this match. If you'd like to see a match covered on the Worst in the World, leave a comment down below.) An often discussed aspect of professional wrestling is the backstage politicking of Hulk Hogan. Throughout his career as a major attraction in wrestling, Hogan's philosophy has always been to protect Hulk Hogan...OK, sometimes he'd help Ed Leslie, but most of the time it was to protect Hulk Hogan. Because of that philosophy and Hogan's influence as a top guy, there have been multiple instances where a company's booking and other wrestlers have suffered as a result. Would having Mr. Perfect win the 1990 Royal Rumble made sense and could have elevated a rising star and potentially created a new main event player? Yes, but that would require Hogan to not win, and that doesn't work for Hogan, so he wins the Rumble even though he doesn't need elevating. Would booking Randy Orton to beat Hogan at SummerSlam 20

Worst in the World: The Gimmick Battle Royal-WrestleMania X-Seven

(Special thanks to Frost for suggesting this match. If you'd like to see a match covered on the Worst in the World, leave a comment down below.) WrestleMania X-Seven. Heavily considered the not just the best WrestleMania, but the greatest wrestling show of all time, WrestleMania X-Seven took place during the hottest period in the WWF's history, and features just about every one of the hottest acts in wrestling at the time. An undercard featuring the likes of Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, William Regal, Kane, and the Big Show. One of the biggest female stars in the history of wrestling in Chyna. A killer TLC match between the Dudley Boyz, the Hardy Boyz, and Edge & Christian. A wild brawl between The Undertaker and Triple H. A massive main event between Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock. Hell, even the father vs son Street Fight between Vince & Shane McMahon. It's a star-studded affair. However, there's one match that sticks out like

Worst in the World: D-Generation X vs Brothers of Destruction-Crown Jewel

This match didn't need to happen. After Triple H and the Undertaker had one of the most brutally bad matches of 2018 at Super Show-Down not even a month earlier, nobody wanted to see them try to wrestle again. Also, nobody wanted to see Shawn Michaels come out of retirement after his fantastic sendoff in 2010, especially for a match like this. But here we are, Triple H & Shawn Michaels facing The Undertaker & Kane in 2018. The combined ages of these four at the time is 206. That's a number you'd expect to see from a match at Heroes of Wrestling. And anyone can come up with their own reason as to why this match is happening, but that would just be ignoring the actual reason. For those of you who don't know, Crown Jewel was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. That might not seem like important information, but you can't really discuss this match without mentioning it. Despite the numerous reasons that running shows in Saudi Arabia is morally wrong (their abuse

Worst in the World: Nia Jax's Worst Matches

Click the link here to vote in the poll and help decide the next edition of the Worst in the World. Nia Jax's first run with the WWE can really only be described as hard to watch. Sure, she had a few stand-out matches, most notably (and surprisingly) her match with Ronda Rousey at Money in the Bank, and an underrated gem with Bayley at NXT TakeOver: London, but those were always outshined by her most infamous matches and moments. She's since returned to WWE and, for the most part, seems to have improved a bit, but the reputation she got from her initial run is gonna be hard to shake off. This week, I'll be looking at some of Jax's worst matches. These include just flat-out bad matches, and matches that have become infamous examples of her reckless in-ring work. Match #1: vs Charlotte Flair-April 10th, 2017 Raw The first match we'll be looking at is from the April 10, 2017 episode of Monday Night Raw, when Nia took on Charlotte Flair. The two had been on the losing e

Worst in the World: Carmella vs Asuka: How to Destroy an Aura

Throughout the entire history of the WWE, we've never seen, and probably will never see again, a woman booked as strong as Asuka was to start her run. Coming into WWE in 2015 with over a decade of experience wrestling in her native Japan as Kana, Asuka was immediately treated like a huge deal. Hell, even from the first time we saw her on a WWE broadcast, she was seated in the crowd of NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn next to two Hall of Famers in Ric Flair & Sgt. Slaughter. Officially debuting in October 2015, Asuka would go her entire NXT career, nearly two full years, without being pinned or submitted. She was booked so strong, in fact, that instead of dropping the NXT Women's Championship in what would be her last match in NXT at the time to Ember Moon (even after sustaining an injury), an act that is almost always the case for champions leaving NXT for the main roster, Asuka retained and later vacated the title, keeping her streak intact. For a company that is more than willing t
