Worst in the World: The Fabulous Freebirds vs The Renegade Warriors-Halloween Havoc 1990

It's two of the Freebirds vs Jay Youngblood's less talented brothers. That's all I've got for the intro, let's just get into it.
Alright so it's Chris & Mark Youngblood, aka The Renegade Warriors, facing off against Fabulous Freebird members Jimmy Garvin and Michael P.S. Hayes. The "P.S." stands for "Purely Sexy."
That was not a joke. Also, Hayes looks like an old, washed up version of Jem in this match
So after some dancing by Hayes, The Warriors run wild on the Freebirds and boot them from the ring. Hayes takes an arm drag, calls a timeout, gets his hair fixed, and tags out to Jimmy Garvin. Chris Youngblood works him over until he takes a punch from Hayes on the apron, allowing Garvin to hit a belly-to-back suplex and take control. Garvin tosses Chris from the ring and distracts the referee, allowing Hayes and the Freebirds manager Little Richard Marley to get in some cheap shots before getting him back in the ring.
The Freebirds work over Chris for a long time. The announcer announces that 15 minutes have gone by less than 10 minutes into the match. Hayes goes for a DDT (back when going for that meant something), but Chris flips him over. Garvin tags before Chris can tag out, so that big spot was pointless. The Freebirds go back to working over Chris until Chris throws Hayes off the top rope and makes the tag. Mark Youngblood runs wild to a completely silent crowd, they did not give a flying f*ck about the Renegade Warriors. Chris joins in and also runs wild. They do dual-10 corner punch spots and one of the Youngbloods (I completely forgot which one was which) rolls up Garvin. A distraction by Marley (which the other Youngblood cause, I might add) allows Hayes to hit the DDT on the Youngblood, allowing Garvin to get the pin and the win. This might not have sounded that bad, but this match went over 17 minutes.

The Verdict

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING.
This was boring. Very boring. Nothing happened...at all.

Worst in the World: The Last Rites Match-TNA Destination X 2007

An often discussed aspect of professional wrestling is the backstage politicking of Hulk Hogan. Throughout his career as a major attraction in wrestling, Hogan's philosophy has always been to protect Hulk Hogan...OK, sometimes he'd help Ed Leslie, but most of the time it was to protect Hulk Hogan. Because of that philosophy and Hogan's influence as a top guy, there have been multiple instances where a company's booking and other wrestlers have suffered as a result. Would having Mr. Perfect win the 1990 Royal Rumble made sense and could have elevated a rising star and potentially created a new main event player? Yes, but that would require Hogan to not win, and that doesn't work for Hogan, so he wins the Rumble even though he doesn't need elevating. Would booking Randy Orton to beat Hogan at SummerSlam 20

Worst in the World: D-Generation X vs Brothers of Destruction-Crown Jewel

This match didn't need to happen. After Triple H and the Undertaker had one of the most brutally bad matches of 2018 at Super Show-Down not even a month earlier, nobody wanted to see them try to wrestle again. Also, nobody wanted to see Shawn Michaels come out of retirement after his fantastic sendoff in 2010, especially for a match like this. But here we are, Triple H & Shawn Michaels facing The Undertaker & Kane in 2018. The combined ages of these four at the time is 206. That's a number you'd expect to see from a match at Heroes of Wrestling. And anyone can come up with their own reason as to why this match is happening, but that would just be ignoring the actual reason. For those of you who don't know, Crown Jewel was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. That might not seem like important information, but you can't really discuss this match without mentioning it.
