Is AJ Styles Going to be in the Royal Rumble?

Royal Rumble bound? Maybe.

Ever since the reports earlier this month about several New Japan Pro Wrestling stars signing with WWE, the company has given very vague, inconclusive comments about the situation. They've written articles and done interviews with Finn Balor and Matt Bloom, but nothing has actually been confirmed either. The rumors of Shinsuke Nakamura (who vacated the IWGP Intercontinental Championship) reporting to the Performance Center in Florida and reports of Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson going to NXT have also surfaced, but nothing yet as been confirmed. Nakamura, Gallows, and Anderson have been quiet since the rumors came out. AJ Styles, on the other hand, has only been fueling the fire on the rumors of his debut, by giving off a few contradictory statements.

One of these statements came during an interview with WhatCulture's Adam Blampied and Kenny McIntosh. During the interview, McIntosh asks Styles that if WhatCulture were to have an event on January 24th (just a completely random, unrelated date), would he be able to attend, all while the Royal Rumble logo slowly creeps up from the bottom of the screen (again, not at all related to the question whatsoever). Styles replies with this. Basically, Styles is saying he is not wrestling at any kind of rumble on January 24th, no matter how royal that rumble is. Or is he?
During a Revolution Pro UK show Styles cut a promo. He starts talking about his future in wrestling, which was immediately met with Royal Rumble chants. Styles goes on to say the following:

"I tell you what…if I’m not recovering from some weird armbar submission and there’s a spot in the Royal Rumble…I’ll tell you what, I don’t deserve a thing. I don’t deserve you but I’ll tell ya… you put me in that Royal Rumble and I’m gonna kick some ass for you guys!"

With only one week left until the Royal Rumble, the rumor of Styles entering the match has been heavily rumored. It was apparently the plan to debut him there in the first place, but all the news ruined the surprise. That doesn't mean he won't show up, though.
I personally think that Styles debuting in the Royal Rumble is the right idea. Not only would it be striking the iron while it's hot (which WWE has failed to do on a few occasions), but it would be in Orlando, where Styles really made himself in TNA. What his debut will lead to, we'll have to wait and see, but it would just be great to see Styles in WWE. You know, if all the rumors are true.

Worst in the World: D-Generation X vs Brothers of Destruction-Crown Jewel

This match didn't need to happen. After Triple H and the Undertaker had one of the most brutally bad matches of 2018 at Super Show-Down not even a month earlier, nobody wanted to see them try to wrestle again. Also, nobody wanted to see Shawn Michaels come out of retirement after his fantastic sendoff in 2010, especially for a match like this. But here we are, Triple H & Shawn Michaels facing The Undertaker & Kane in 2018. The combined ages of these four at the time is 206. That's a number you'd expect to see from a match at Heroes of Wrestling. And anyone can come up with their own reason as to why this match is happening, but that would just be ignoring the actual reason.
