Well, it's finally here; the last match on the list for the Worst in the World! Yes, this nine-month journey through some of the worst professional wrestling has to offer comes to a close after this entry. It's been one hell of a ride, but this is it. The final match in the series is Dusty Rhodes vs the Honky Tonk Man from SummerSlam 1989. Dusty had just come into the WWF after his main event run in Jim Crockett Promotions, and in only his third match in the WWF, he faced off against the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion of all time in the Honky Tonk Man. It's too legends, so it can't be that bad. Let's get into this. The two dance around the ring before locking up. Dusty back body drops Honky and goes for the Bionic Elbow,  but Honky avoids it and bails from the ring. Dusty locks in a wristlock before tussling Honky's hair and hitting an atomic drop followed by a Bionic Elbow. Dusty gets 10 punches in the corner before locking in...something: H...

Dusty Rhodes vs Big Boss Man...that's all I've really got. I'm not really sure what to say. Neither are terrible workers or terrible characters, so there's not much to slag them for. Yeah, I guess they just don't work well together. Anyways, this match comes from the November 25th, 1989 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event, the same show that featured Ultimate Warrior vs Andre the Giant , which is currently in the bottom 10 of my rankings. Man...this was a rough episode. Before the match starts, Dusty immediately gives out to the referee about Boss Man's manager Slick being at ringside, and demands he leave ringside. Umm...you can't just kick someone from ringside because they might cheat. It would be like calling a foul on someone in basketball because they were guarding a person and they might foul them. Also, this doesn't make Dusty look like a fighting babyface at all. The minute he's in a disadvantage, he cowers and demands it be made...
