Worst in the World: Santino Marella vs Heath Slater-WWE Friday Night SmackDown (9/27/2013)

(Special thanks to Otter Empire for suggesting this match. If you'd like to see a match covered on the Worst in the World, leave a comment down below.) It is time for some wacky shit. This is actually the first time I'll be covering a match from SmackDown in this series, and there's a good reason for that; SmackDown, for the majority of its existence, was a pre-taped show. This meant that, should a notably bad match take place on the blue show, it could be edited and altered to make it more palatable. That being said, there were definitely still bad matches that made it to air on SmackDown, and this is one of them. Santino Marella & Heath Slater faced off on the September 27, 2013 edition of SmackDown, a show that had pretty much nothing of substance on it...kind of like every SmackDown that happened between the two brand splits. Despite the throwaway nature of this episode, the two managed to have a notable match in all the wrong ways. This is easily one of the weirdes...

My Thoughts on SmackDown (8/9/16): That's Politics, Baby!

Before the show, Randy Orton says he's going to beat Lesnar at SummerSlam. Incomes Alberto Del Rio, who says Orton must be joking. Orton replies by saying he'll show him what he's going to do to Lesnar tonight in their match. Del Rio leaves after threatening to break Orton's arm. We kick off the show with the Wyatt Family. Wyatt says he did not lose to Dolph Ziggler last week because Ziggler was desperate and cheated by ramming Wyatt's head into an exposed turnbuckle. Wyatt says he is a God, and no matter what Ziggler does, he can never kill him. Outcomes Dean Ambrose, who laughs off Wyatt playing the victim card and calls him a baby. Wyatt challenges him to a fight, but Ambrose says he's smart enough not to run into a 2-on-1 fight with Rowan present. Outcomes Ziggler, who sprints into the ring to fight the Wyatt's. Right after Ambrose said it would be a stupid idea. Why should I cheer him, again? Ziggler gets the piss beat out of him, so Ambrose runs ...

My Thoughts on RAW (8/1/16): 3MB EXPLODES!

We kick off the show with the new Women's Champion Sasha Banks. "YOU DESERVE IT" chants fill the arena, and she thanks the crowd for their support. She says that last year during SummerSlam weekend she and Bayley stole the show in Brooklyn and that she'll beat Charlotte at SummerSlam. This brings out Charlotte and she gets loud "YOU TAPPED OUT!" chants. Sasha mocks her for losing, and notices Dana Brooke isn't with her. Charlotte says she doesn't need anyone to beat Sasha at SummerSlam and says Sasha only won because of one mistake. She calls Sasha an one night stand, and Sasha responds with possibly the best comeback in WWE history: "You're a Flair, if it weren't for a one night stand, you wouldn't be standing here." Damn. No wonder someone had to come out and talk, I don't know how you can even come back from that. Well, out comes Chris Jericho, who runs down Sasha and claims Charlotte is better than Ric Flair ever was...
