Worst in the World: New Jack vs Mustafa-Living Dangerously 1999

Click the link here to vote in the poll and help decide the next edition of the Worst in the World. Watching former tag team partners face off is a staple of professional wrestling. Former friends turned enemies after one wrestler stabs the other in the back, leading to an incredibly heated feud chock full of the emotion that pro-wrestling thrives on. Over the years, we've seen plenty of fantastic rivalries & matches come out of these kinds of feuds, whether it be the top-notch in-ring work of the Johnny Gargano-Tommaso Ciampa series (excluding One Final Beat, which was...something) to intense drama of Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage's feud going into WrestleMania 5, a tag team break up can create magic in the ring. However, the magic isn't always there, and sometimes former tag partners facing off doesn't lead to memorable matches. This is the case for this match, as the former Gangstas teammates New Jack and Mustafa faced off at ECW's Living Dangerously 1999. In f...

Worst in the World: The Time New Jack Tried To Murder Vic Grimes (And The Incident That Led To It Happening)

It was only a matter of time before New Jack popped up in the Worst in the World. Over the course of his near 30-year career, New Jack developed two reputations. One as someone who fully embodied the high-risk, violent brawling style that made ECW popular. The other, which is more prominent, is of someone who's more than willing to take liberties with & shoot on his opponents with little to no provocation. New Jack is so infamous for these incidents that you can probably think of more matches where he did shoot on an opponent than matches where he didn't. Today, at the request of both frequent contributors to the recommendations Frost and an anonymous user, I'll be taking a look at one of these incidents. That incident being New Jack's Scaffold match against Vic Grimes from Xtreme Pro Wrestling's Freef...

Worst in the World: The Extreme Elimination Chamber-December to Dismember 2006

(Note: Happy Holidays, everyone! For the month of December, I'm going from a new post every two weeks to once a week. With that out of the way, on to the post!" In 2004, WWE released the Rise and Fall of ECW, a DVD documenting the dizzying highs, the terrifying lows, and those oh-so-creamy middles of Extreme Championship Wrestling. It was a smash hit, reportedly becoming the best-selling wrestling DVD in history. It was such a success that Vince McMahon & WWE greenlit a whole reunion show for the extreme promotion live from the company's frequent venue, the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, in 2005, giving us ECW One Night Stand. It was also a huge success, prompting not just a follow-up show the next year, but a complete revival of ECW, now as a third brand for WWE. Unfortunately, the rule of thirds does not apply to success, as the new ECW was a complete dud. So, in my best Matt McMuscles voice , I ask the question...Wha Happun? Well, for starters, the new ECW...
