Predictions for the Cruiserweight Classic (Part 2)

The last time I talked about the Cruiserweight Classic , I predicted who I thought were going to be the final 8 competitors and who would win the whole thing. Now that the official bracket has been announced, some of the match-ups prevent my final 8 from happening. Now, here are my revamped predictions for the Cruiserweight Classic. Predictions for the Cruiserweight Classic

(For updated predictions, click here ) Well, all 32 competitors have been announced for the Cruiserweight Classic and it's all set to begin this Thursday. With the tournament only a few days away, I felt like throwing out my predictions for how I think the tournament will go and who will win. So here are my predictions for the Cruiserweight Classic. The Elite 8 Now, if I were booking the tournament, I would go for these eight to be the last eight in the tournament: Tajiri Rich Swann Noam Dar Zack Sabre Jr. Johnny Gargano Cedric Alexander Kota Ibushi Tommaso Ciampa And the bracket would look like this: Zack Sabre Jr. vs Tajiri Johnny Gargano vs Tommaso Ciampa Kota Ibushi vs Rich Swann Cedric Alexander vs Noam Dar Quarter Finals So, in the quarter-finals of the tournament, we've got Sabre Jr. going over Tajiri, Gargano going over Ciampa, Ibushi going over Swann, and Dar going over Alexander. The First 7 Competitors Have Been Announced for the Global Cruiserweight Series, Featuring A Few Familiar Names

Ever since WWE announced their Global Cruiserweight Series in February, fans have wondered who would be included in this exciting 32 man tournament. Well, now we know some of them. As reported on WWE.com, the first seven participants are Rich Swann, Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Zack Sabre Jr., Noam Dar, Ho Ho Lun, and Akira Tozawa. Other participants will be decided by qualifying matches hosted by EVOLVE, PROGRESS, and Revolution Pro Wrestling. I figure that Christopher Girard would have been in the series, but something probably cost him his chance. The biggest name out of this group is obviously Zack Sabre Jr.. A 12 year veteran, Sabre Jr. is one of the most popular wrestlers on the British independent scene, currently holding the Revolution Pro Wrestling British Heavyweight Championship and the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla Championship, which he won from AJ Styles and Roderick Strong, respectively.
