So Jim Duggan's back for the second entry in a row. Yeah...why me? This time, he faces Meng, formerly known as Haku in what is called a "Martial Arts match." How is this any different from a regular match, well that is an excellent question...I have no idea. Let's just get into this First off, Jim Duggan is sporting the most traditional of martial arts gear in jeans and cowboy boots: I mean come on, have you ever even been to a dojo? So after refusing to bow initially (like a babyface), Duggan eventually bows after being yelled at by referee Sonny Onoo. Meng takes this opportunity to kick Duggan in the head. The two trade strikes, with Duggan throwing traditional martial arts moves such as punches and forearms before Meng hits Duggan to the ground. Duggan takes off his boot and hits Meng with it (like in most martial arts matches). I know I might sound like a broken record with these martial arts jokes, but seriously, what about this match is "martial ar...

Even before Vince Russo came to World Championship Wrestling, WCW had a habit of booking crazy, ridiculous gimmick matches. I've already taken a look at two of their most outrageous in the Chamber of Horrors , where the goal was to electrocute your opponent, and the Doomsday Cage match, where they made up the rules as they went along, but there other matches the company did that are almost as wacky. This is one of them. Infamously known as the match that cost both the competitors their jobs in WCW, it's the King of the Road match! Consisting of Dustin Rhodes, the future Goldust, and the Blacktop Bully, the former Demolition member Smash, the match pits the two not in a ring, but in a cage on a moving flatbed truck filled with hay, with the winner being the first to get to the top of the cage and sound a horn. In 1988, the WWF began one of the best rivalries in wrestling history. In a year long build to WrestleMania V, Randy Savage and Hulk Hogan went from friends and tag partners to bitter enemies. Hogan helped Savage win the WWF Championship at WrestleMania IV, and the two formed the Mega Powers. Though they stayed on the same page for almost an entire year, the issues were very clear. At Survivor Series 1988, Savage was clearly upset with the way Hogan and Elizabeth got along and at the 1989 Royal Rumble Hogan had accidentally eliminated Savage from the Royal Rumble. The group came to an end after Hogan abandoned Savage to help an injured Miss Elizabeth to the back, which caused Savage to attack Hogan when he came back. Quick Note: Just to let you know, this entry is going to have a lot more visuals than my other ones so far. The match is so hard to talk about, it's just easier to show you it.   I have no words. Only rants. What in the hell was this match? It is the most confusing, nonsensical, laughably bad attempts at a new match type. And I don't mean like the Chamber of Horrors where there was wacky stuff happening the entire time and nothing made any sense. This is just a slow, plodding match with zero stability whatsoever. This isn't thinking outside the box, this is taking the box and completely throwing it out the window First complaint, what is with Michael Buffer's outrageously long introductions?
