Worst in the World: Alex Wright vs Steve McMichael-Halloween Havoc 1997

MONGO'S BACK! HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN! Yes, he's back for another match in the Worst in the World! What is there to really say about Mongo? He was an awful commentator, who went on to become an awful wrestler before finally leaving wrestling in 1999. He did, however, come full circle with his awfulness in 2008, when he did an awful job refereeing a 4 team Monster's Ball match at Bound For Glory IV. That's actually how he counted pins. Anyways, this time around he faces "Das Wunderkind" Alex Wright, who might know for making a PROMISE to win if you picked him in WCW Thunder on the Nintendo 64 at Halloween Havoc 1997. It's Mongo, so it's got to be fun. Let's get into this. The two trade wristlocks to start before Mongo hits a bodyslam, followed by Wright rolling out of the ring to consult with his valet Debra. Wright gets the better end of the lock up and starts stomping away on Mongo's arm before Mongo turns the tables and knee drop...

Worst in the World: Steve McMichael vs Reggie White-Slamboree 1997

You know what, I'm just going to copy-and-paste exactly what I put the last time a non-wrestler was in a match: "I've said this more than a few times on this blog, but since it has come up again, I'll say it again; NON-WRESTLERS SHOULD NOT WRESTLE. THEY ARE NOT GOOD AT IT."-Me, 2016 But unfortunately, there are countless examples of untrained non-wrestlers coming into wrestling promotions and stepping in the ring with the wrestlers. In this match, we see Pro Football Hall of Famer and at the time defensive end for the Green Bay Packers Reggie White face off against former football player Steve "Mongo" McMichael. This might seem similar to the famous Wrestlemania XII match between Bam Bam Bigelow and Lawerence Taylor. The problem is that Taylor had one of the most agile and underrated big men in wrestling to work with, and White has the guy who rivals Paul Roma as the worst Horseman of all time. Let's get into this. The two circle each other ...

Worst in the World: Steve McMichael vs Brian Adams-Road Wild 1998

Just to clarify, that is NOT Brian Adams the singer, but that would be really funny to see that guy get in the ring with...anyone. Nope, this Brian Adams is better known as Crush, aka the guy who replaced Ax in Demolition, and as Kona Crush, who had a feud with Doink the Clown because Doink was, to quote OSW Review, "MAKING KIDS CRY, BRAH". And to make this even better he is going up against STEVE MCMICHAEL, aka MONGO. If you don't know, Mongo was a former football player, and went to become one of the most hilariously bad wrestling commentators ever. Like, so bad. He eventually became a wrestler and a member of the Four Horsemen, despite not being a good wrestler. Mongo faced Brian Adams at Road Wild 1998. You remember Road Wild, right? The WCW pay-per-view at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally where they could bring in money at the gate. This is just a beautiful mess of bad idea after bad idea. But let's get to the actual match. The two lock up, Mongo backs Adams int...
