Worst in the World: Ultimate Warrior vs Goldust-In Your House 7

Remember that time the Ultimate Warrior came back in 1996 and everything he did was terrible? Well, it happened...boy, did it happen. Warrior returned to the WWF at WrestleMania XII for the infamous match with Triple H (then Hunter Hearst Helmsley) where he no sold a Pedigree and beat him in under two minutes: After that, Warrior proceeded to have only seven more matches, two of which weren't shown on TV or pay-per-view, and all of which were bad before being fired only four months after his return. It's a period of time I'm pretty sure everyone wants to forget. Aside from the aforementioned match with Triple H, arguably the worst match from this run was his match with Goldust at In Your House 7: Good Friends, Better Enemies, where he challenged for the Intercontinental Championship. Knowing what I know about Warrior's last WWF run, I have a feeling this won't be good. Let's get into this. So before the match starts, a large man in a suit and fedora att...

Worst in the World: Team WCW vs nWo Wolfpac vs nWo Hollywood-Fall Brawl 1998

Leave it to WCW to have not one, but TWO great concepts and manage to f*ck both of them up at the same time. In 1998, the nWo split into two rival factions, the face nWo Wolfpac, led by Kevin Nash, and the heel nWo Hollywood, led by Hollywood Hogan. That's right, the nWo had gotten so big and so out-of-control that the only thing left to do was an nWo vs nWo angle. This angle led to a three team, three way WarGames match between Team WCW (Diamond Dallas Page, Roddy Piper, and The Ultimate Warrior), the nWo Wolfpac (Kevin Nash, Sting, and Lex Luger), and the nWo Hollywood (Hollywood Hogan, Bret Hart, and Stevie Ray). In perfect WCW fashion, they managed to take arguably their most beloved match and over complicate it, kind of like how they did with their most beloved stable. Like in WarGames, one person from each team starts in the match, followed by a new person after five minutes, then one every two minutes. Once everyone has entered the cages, the match can only be won by s...

Worst in the World: Ultimate Warrior vs Andre the Giant-Saturday Night's Main Event (11/25/1989)

networkplaylists.com Ultimate Warrior was one of those guys who if you put him in the ring with an experienced, talented veteran (Hogan, Savage, Rick Rude), he could have a good-to-great match. Andre the Giant is not one of those experienced talented veterans. In fact, Andre the Giant is probably the antithesis of an experienced, talented veteran. Even his match against Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania III, one of the most historic matches in history, is (in all honesty) a horrendous match that is only remembered for Hogan bodyslamming Andre. It's so bad that it's going to be showing up in this series eventually. But back to Andre and Warrior. When you put two high profile but awful wrestlers in the ring together, all you're really guaranteed is a long, bad match. And nowhere is this better shown in their match up from November 1989's edition of Saturday Night's Main Event. This match (for the Intercontinental Championship) curtain jerked a show where Macho Man's...

Worst in the World: Ultimate Warrior vs Hercules-WrestleMania IV

I hate these kinds of matches. Not because they're outrageously bad, but because they're pretty much...nothing. Which is worse because when the match gives me nothing, I can't write anything about it. At least when a match is bad and full of frying pans, blindfolds falling off, and Brie Mode, I can usually write a paragraph or two just about those parts. This sucks. Ultimate Warrior vs Hercules is like Konnan vs One Man Gang from SuperBrawl VI. It's not bad enough to actually be on this list, but it's on there, so I might as well get through this. Before I start, I just want to point out that Hercules is by far one of the most pale people in history, and this is coming from one of the most pale people in history. Rumor has it that Hercules didn't actually die, but he dyed his hair orange and changed his name to Sheamus. I'm not saying that's true, but I've never seen Hercules and Sheamus in the same place. Just saying. Man, first Summer Rae...

Worst in the World: Hollywood Hogan vs The Warrior-Halloween Havoc 1998

"It's weird that my best match ever was with Hogan, and at the same time my worst match ever was with Hogan"-The Ultimate Warrior I have seen a few bad matches since I've started this list. They don't even compare to this match. This is one of the most drawn out, lazy, most uninteresting matches I've ever seen. It's so bad that Eric Bischoff, probably the biggest Hulk Hogan mark of all time, even called the match one of the worst in history. And let's just be completely honest here, this match exists so that Hogan could get his win back over Warrior from WrestleMania VI. I know that this sounds like a huge waste of money to sign a big name star like The Ultimate Warrior just to lose a match, but think back to all the things Bischoff has wasted money on ( like a pay-per-view at a motorcycle rally where you can't bring in money at the gate ), it doesn't seem too ridiculous. Ironically enough, this match, arguably the worst match in WCW hi...

Worst in the World: Hulk Hogan vs Sid Justice-WrestleMania VIII

"Did he perm his mullet? Why would you perm your mullet? He looks like a poodle"-Me, seeing Sid Justice's permed mullet for the first time Seven more Hogan matches after this. If this is any indication of what the Hogan matches are going to be like, I'm in something deep. This match is so boring. So ungodly boring. So boring that when I was making a recording of my reaction to this match, I could barely say anything about this match. It's about 16 minutes of me saying "Stalling", "Boring", or giving out about Sid's mullet. Sid attacks Hogan during his entrance, and Hogan immediately gets the upper hand and knocks Sid out of the ring. Sid gets back in the ring, which is when I noticed Sid's PERMED MULLET.   Look at that! That's supposed to be intimidating! I guess that's threatening if you find Kenny Powers threatening. It might sound weird that I was so drawn to Sid's mullet, but I swear, there is nothing els...

12 Terrible Things That Happened To The Intercontinental Championship (That Are Worse Than a Diva Winning It)

WWE.com On New Year's Day, WWE.com put up an article titled " 10 things we want to see in 2016 " with the above picture of Sasha Banks with the Intercontinental Championship as the picture on the first page. This goes with #9 on the list; "A Diva wins a male championship". While this would of course be impossible due to WWE's views on male-on-female violence, it would be cool to see someone like Banks win a male title, as she has shown to be a better wrestler than some of the men on the roster, and has experience with intergender matches (like this one, where she says her future fiancee has a tiny dick and gets kicked in the mouth by said future fiancee ). In an era where people like Candice LeRae can fight in hardcore matches with three other male wrestlers and we have independent pay-per-views where every match is intergender, it seems wrestling has grown to accept intergender wrestling as another kind of wrestling, instead of just "watch this g...
