My Thoughts on RAW (7/31/17): A Matter of Respect

Kurt Angle comes out to kick off the show. He says he has an incredible show planned tonight, announcing that Big Show & Big Cass will face off, MizTV will have Jason Jordan as a guest, and Braun Strowman, Roman Reigns, and Samoa Joe will face off in a triple threat match. Angle leaves the ring, only for Brock Lesnar & Paul Heyman to come out. Heyman says that Angle wants to get the Universal Championship off of Lesnar and that's the only reason he put Lesnar in a fatal 4-way match. He says the whole match is a set-up to get Lesnar to pay the "ultimate price." Heyman says that if Lesnar loses the Universal Championship, then Lesnar & himself will leave the WWE. However, Heyman says that Lesnar will not lose his title to Strowman, Reigns, or Joe and at the end of the night, the announcement will be that the winner, and still the champion is Brock Lesnar. The Hardy Boyz vs Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson- The Revival are on commentary for this match. Matt

My Thoughts on NXT (7/26/17): A Fire You Can't Dance Around

Ember Moon vs Lei'D Tapa- Tapa takes the fight right to Moon, clotheslining her down before tossing her across the ring. Tapa follows up by stomping away at Moon before headbutting her. Moon comes back with a tornado DDT set-up into a suplex before hitting a single leg dropkick. Moon strikes away at Tapa before going to the top rope and hitting the Eclipse for the three and the win. After the match, Moon takes the mic and says she wants Asuka at Takeover: Brooklyn. She says Asuka wants competition and she's willing to give it to her. She says she's not afraid to face Asuka and says she's ready to defeat Asuka. The Authors of Pain with Paul Ellering vs David Ramos & Timothy Bumpers- EXCEPT NOPE! As the AOP make their entrance, Nikki Cross pops up and stands on the ring apron. Meanwhile, Alexander Wolfe & Killian Dain take out Ramos & Bumpers and toss them out of the ring. The AOP get in the ring and stare down Wolfe & Dain before both teams brawl be

My Thoughts on SmackDown (7/25/17): Welcome Back MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!

We kick off the show with new United States Champion Kevin Owens. He says being the United States Champion feels right and says that Battleground was proof that good things happen to good people. He says he'll defend the title with the honor & pride it deserves and says he is reinstating the Kevin Owens United States Championship Open Challenge, starting...next week. He says he would never defend his title in Richmond, Virginia before AJ Styles comes out. He says he wants his rematch for the title, but Owens reiterates he will not defend the title tonight. And then...BREAK THE WALLS DOWN!!! CHRIS JERICHO IS BACK! He says he's back and he wants the United States Championship back. Styles interjects and says he is next in line for the United States Championship, not Jericho, so Jericho puts him on the List of Jericho. Owens leaves the ring and walks up the ramp, only for Shane McMahon to come out and announce that tonight, Owens will defend the United States Championship a

My Thoughts on RAW (7/24/17): Top Nerds

Kurt Angle comes out to kick off the show. He announces that Jason Jordan will have his first match on RAW tonight before turning his attention to the Universal Championship situation. He says Braun Strowman ruined the #1 contenders match between Roman Reigns & Samoa Joe last week and before he announces who Brock Lesnar will face at SummerSlam, Strowman comes out. He says he better be the one to face Lesnar or else and says unlike Reigns & Joe, he actually won at Great Balls of Fire and says that he doesn't fear Brock Lesnar, Brock Lesnar fears him. Samoa Joe's out next and says that Strowman is lucky they haven't crossed paths since he came to RAW and says he's the one who doesn't fear Brock Lesnar, and he definitely doesn't fear Braun Strowman. He says all Strowman did was save Reigns from taking another loss to him and says Angle needs to give Lesnar to him. Roman Reigns comes out and says Joe & Strowman haven't done anything in WWE befo

My Thoughts on SmackDown (7/18/17): The Power of Love

Jinder Mahal & the Singh Brothers kick off the show with the Punjabi Prison surrounding the ring. Jinder says the Punjabi Prison will be the final resting place of Randy Orton's legacy. The Singh Brothers then run down the rules of the Punjabi Prison; there are two cages surrounding the ring. The inner cage has four doors that can be opened when a wrestler calls for it. Each door will be open for 60 seconds, and once those 60 seconds are up, it gets locked shut and won't reopen. Or as Sunil Singh puts it, the door will "never, ever, athen, ever." That's what he said. The outer cage has no doors and must be climbed over. The winner is the first man to escape both cages. Jinder then says there are no rules in the Punjabi Prison. Was he not listening? They just explained the rules. Jinder says he will hit Orton with the Khallas off the top of the cage and says he will walk out of the Punjabi Prison as WWE Champion. Jinder speaks in Punjabi until Randy Orton

My Thoughts on RAW (7/17/17): Who's Your Daddy?

Dean Ambrose comes down to the ring to kick off the show with a steel chair in hand. He says he's bent out of shape because of the Miz, but he had fun beating him, Bo Dallas, and Curtis Axel up last week. He calls out Miz & his Miztourage and threatens to beat Miz so bad he'll wake up back on the Real World. Instead of the Miz, Seth Rollins comes out and says Ambrose shouldn't pick a fight he can't win on his own. He says Ambrose needs to come up with a better plan, but Ambrose says that's not his way and he came down after Rollins' match last week because he wanted to. He tells Rollins to stay out of his business, but Rollins says Miz insulting him made it his business. He asks if Ambrose will be in his way or on his side when he fights the Miz. Ambrose says he doesn't know this Seth Rollins, he knows the one that beat him down with a chair three years ago and broke up the Shield. Rollins apologizes for what he did and says he lives with that every

My Thoughts on NXT (7/12/17): Mass

Aleister Black vs BOBBY FISH!- Yes! One-half of reDRagon is in NXT! The two feel eachother out to start before Black goes to a wristlock. The two trade holds going back and forth. Black connects with a kick to the chest, which Fish responds to with multiple kicks of his own. Fish boots Black to the ropes before Black strikes away at Fish, leading to a running knee that sends Fish out of the ring. Black tries to suplex Fish back into the ring from the apron, but Fish blocks it with a knee before locking in a sleeper from the apron. The ref forces a break, after which Fish drops down and kicks Black's leg out from under him from ringside. It looked awesome. After a commercial break, we come back to Fish beating down Black in the ropes, following up with a slingshot senton for a near fall. Fish controls the match, working over Black's leg. Black mounts a comeback and connects with a big boot followed by multiple kicks to the chest. Black hits a springboard moonsault before

My Thoughts on SmackDown (7/11/17): The Truth is Not H

We kick off the show with the new United States Champion AJ Styles. He says he's an upgrade as the "face of America" and announces that he's bringing back the US Open Challenge to prove that whoever has this title is the best. He challenges anyone in the back to come out and prove him wrong. Outcomes John Cena, who clarifies that that includes him. Styles says it especially means him. Cena accepts the challenge and calls a referee down right now. AJ Styles (c) vs John Cena-United States Championship- EXCEPT NOPE! Kevin Owens comes out before the bell rings and says nobody wants to see another John Cena-AJ Styles match. That is a lie. I love Kevin Owens, but that is a lie. He says everyone wants to see the rightful owner of the title get it back, which his himself. He says nobody wants to see Cena back and tells him to stay away from his title. Cena challenges him to get him out of the ring before he is attacked by Rusev. Styles throws Rusev off of Cena, only to

My Thoughts on RAW (7/10/17): After Balls of Fire

We kick off the show with Big Cass. He mockingly asks the crowd "How you doin'?" and says he couldn't feel any better after what he did to Enzo Amore. He says he got Enzo out of his life forever last night and that everyone on the RAW roster should take note of what he did to Enzo last night because that's what happens if people mess with him. He tells the crowd not hop on his bandwagon now and says that everyone who's ever doubted him will eat their words when he wins the Universal Championship one day. He says nobody can touch him, nobody is on his level, and nobody is bigger than him. Obviously, this leads to the Big Show coming out. Show headbutts Cass before taking Cass down to the mat. Big Show beats down Cass in the corner before Cass rolls out of the ring. Elias Samson vs Finn Balor- Before the match, Elias Samson sings a song about Finn Balor, which is interrupted by Balor himself. Samson starts off the match with a bodyslam, which Balor respond
