In that post, I mentioned that, despite the bar being set pretty low by one match the previous night, Orton vs Wyatt managed to slide under it with plenty of room to spare and come out as the worst match across the two nights. The match that set that bar? The Women's Tag Team Turmoil match, with the winner getting a shot at the Women's Tag Team Championships on Night 2. A little over two months ago at WrestleMania 37, we saw four different women's matches take place. All four matches had been built up on TV, and all four of them had some kind of stakes attached to them, whether that be a championship or a title shot. This might seem like an odd thing to praise. After all, a match with a story, stakes, and build is the bare minimum for wrestling in general, let alone matches at WrestleMania. However, when it comes to the women's division in WWE, that hasn't always been the case. And not even just in the Attitude Era, I'm talking about the early 2000s up until about 2016. I've ragged on the booking of women's wrestling during the Attitude Era (both in the WWF and WCW) more than a few times here, but I've rarely talked about the period after that and how, as a whole, it'...

What happens when you put 14 Divas in a ring and only about four or five of them are any good? Trash. You get trash. That's what this match is. This is a 7-on-7 Survivor Series tag match between the cast of Total Divas (The Bella Twins, Natalya, Eva Marie, The Funkadactyls, and JoJo) against the other Divas (AJ Lee, Tamina Snuka , Rosa Mendes, Kaitlyn, Summer Rae, Alicia Fox, and (My girl!) Aksana). Technically they're called the "True Divas" but let's be honest, they're just the other Divas. Also, oddly enough, this match is listed as "Team Eva Marie vs Team AJ Lee" on the WWE Network. That's weird. So the match starts with Naomi and Alicia Fox. They do some awkward moves that look like botches, but I can't really tell. They go up to the top rope (oh God) and Fox gets knocked off.
