Worst in the World: Team RAW vs Team SmackDown Men's Elimination Match-Survivor Series 2017

Special thanks to  RETROMANIACOS  for suggesting this match. If you'd like to see a match covered on the Worst in the World, leave a comment down below.  BRAND WARFARE! Since the brand split in 2016, Survivor Series has become WWE's yearly event where RAW and SmackDown superstars square off, all in the name of brand superiority. Admittedly, the allure of brand warfare has been snuffed out due to how often the show's rosters change (and the ill-fated Wild Card rule), but back when the new brand split first started, the new format for Survivor Series was still a fun idea. And considering how great the 2016 Survivor Series' Men's match was, you'd be forgiven for having high hopes for the next year's installment. And low and behold, WWE brought out plenty of big boys for 2017. It's Team RAW, consisting of Braun Strowman, Finn Bálor, Samoa Joe, Triple H, and RAW general manager Kurt Angle (whose job was on the line in this match), versus Team SmackDown, consi...

My Thoughts on NXT (7/13/16): The End of an Era

We kick off the show with Samoa Joe. He says he's here to witness Finn Balor vs Shinsuke Nakamura, because he thinks that the idea that the winner becomes a contender for the NXT Championship is insulting. He says he was the one who brought strong style to NXT, and that if Nakamura is the "King of Strong Style", then he is the emperor. He says he is the new face of NXT before being interrupted by Rhyno. He says if has to go through Joe to get to the top, he'll do just that. The two have a stare down before Joe walks off, saying he'll beat Rhyno on his time as he walks up the ramp. Finn Balor vs Shinsuke Nakamura- Yes. Yes. Yes. A thousand times yes. This could have headlined Takeover: Brooklyn 2. Hell, this is probably good enough to be a WrestleMania main event. This is going to be great. The two get the title match treatment complete with special lighting and post entrance introductions. The two exchange lock ups and holds to start as dueling "NAKAMUR...

NXT Takeover: Dallas Predictions

With WrestleMania 32 right around the corner, everyone is hyped for NXT Takeover: Dallas. With six matches on the card featuring 13 of NXT's best (remember, f*ck the Drifter), Takeover: Dallas is all set to blow away WrestleMania 32 in quality. Here are my predictions for the show. Match #1: Austin Aries vs Baron Corbin Winner: Austin Aries With Austin Aries now under contract, NXT's roster just got a whole lot stronger. As for this match, I'm going with an Aries win, because it wouldn't make much sense to bring him in as a huge signing only to immedatley lose to Corbin Match #2: The Revival (c) vs American Alpha-NXT Tag Team Championships Winner: American Alpha Despite my initial thoughts that The Revival were just transitional champs, they've been able to hold the NXT Tag Team Championships since October. However, I think that American Alpha will be taking the titles from them in Dallas. They're way too hot right now too not put the belts on the...

My Thoughts on NXT (3/16/16): Arriving in (Strong) Style

We kick off the show with Sami Zayn. He talks about his match with Samoa Joe last week, and says he still wants to be the first two time NXT Champion (not likely, now that he's on the main roster), but he's still upset he's not going to be fighting at Takeover: Dallas. Outcomes William Regal, who says Zayn deserves to fight one of the best in the world at Takeover: Dallas for all he's done for NXT. At Takeover: Dallas, Sami Zaym faces one of NXT's newest signings: SHINSUKE F*CKING NAKAMURA! HOLY SH*T! THE KING OF STRONG STYLE IS COMING TO NXT! AND HE'S FACING SAMI ZAYN AT TAKEOVER: DALLAS. I'M SO HYPED FOR THIS! NOTHING CAN KILL THIS EXCITEMENT FOR ME! The Hype Bros vs Kenneth Crawford & Angelo Dawkins- The excitement has been killed. Corey Graves says it perfectly that The Hype Bros coming out after the Nakamura announcement is proof that the universe hates him. I feel it, buddy. Rawley and Crawford start off the match, with Graves giving h...

16 Current Roster Wrestlers That Should Be Added For WWE 2K17

WhatCulture.com WWE 2K16 is only three and a half months old now, so it's about time to start talking about WWE 2K17. While 2K16 was a good game and huge step forward from the overall disappointment of 2K15, there are still improvements needed (specifically towards Career mode). One of the things 2K16 has boasted is the largest roster in WWE video game history. While that is true, there were still some omissions who were left out for less important stars (guys like...Savio Vega) or for some (to be frank) bullsh*t reasons (*cough cough* The Four Horsewomen *cough*). And along with the new members of the real life roster, 2K17's roster is gearing up to top 2K16's. Here, I'm going to give my 16 suggestions for the next game's roster. Without further ado, here are 16 current WWE wrestlers who should be added to WWE 2K17 16. Carmella WWE on YouTube  Since Enzo Amore & Colin Cassady made it into 2K16, it's only fitting that 2K add Carmella  to complet...

Shinsuke Nakamura's NXT Debut Date & Opponent Revealed (SPOILERS)

Photo Credit: WWE.com Like it says in the title: This post contains spoilers for the January 27th tapings of NXT Former New Japan Pro Wrestling star Shinsuke Nakamura is officially coming to NXT! The rumor was confirmed by WWE on WWE.com that the former IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Champion has signed with the company and will debut in NXT. While it's a bit disappointing that he won't be going straight to the main roster like AJ Styles and like how the rumors went, it will still be exciting to see the King of Strong Style go up against the likes of Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, and the newly signed Austin Aries. In fact, Nakamura's debut date and opponent have already been revealed. (Once again...) At Wednesday's NXT tapings, a video announced that Nakamura would be making his NXT debut at NXT Takeover: Dallas, and he will be facing NXT fan favorite Sami Zayn. This should be without a doubt an amazing match and a possible Match of the Year candidate. Ho...

WWE Is Acknowledging The Rumors of the NJPW Stars Coming In

WWE.com Following up yesterday's news that AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Karl Anderson, and Doc Gallows all signed with WWE , WWE.com has posted an article addressing the rumor mill . The article addresses mostly what is already known about the situation: The four reportedly have all told New Japan Pro Wrestling they are done with the promotion, and are singing with WWE. According to the article, Triple H has declined to comment on the rumors. The article briefly explains Styles, Anderson, and Gallows involvement in the Bullet Club, and even acknowledges Finn Balor's past as the original leader of the Bullet Club. The article calls the possible of additions of the four as "one of the most significant bulk talent acquisitions in WWE history". Each of the men's previous accolades are listed (minus Styles' TNA accolades because "LOL TNA"), and Gallows previous run in the company and Anderson's time as head trainer Matt Bloom (Tensai)'s tag...

Styles, Nakamura, Anderson, and Gallows All Headed for WWE?

F4WOnline is reporting that New Japan Pro Wrestling stars AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura, Karl Anderson, and Doc Gallows have all left the promotion and have signed with WWE. This news broke within 24 hours of the conclusion NJPW's Wrestle Kingdom 10, the company's version of WrestleMania, where Nakamura successfully defended IWGP Intercontinental Championship against Styles, and Anderson & Gallows dropped the IWGP Tag Team Championships to the Great Bash Heel (Togi Makabe and Tomoaki Honma). It was reported in the article by Bryan Rose that the four approached NJPW booker Gedo and told him they would be leaving. Nakamura, who is still the IWGP Intercontinental Champion, will most likely drop the title before leaving. This would come as a huge blow to NJPW, as the four are major stars in the promotion. Nakamura is currently in his 5th reign as Intercontinental Champion, and is a 3-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion, and a former IWGP Tag Team Champion. Styles is a 2-time ...
