Maccabiah Mania were two shows held four years apart put together by Jeff Bukantz, a Jewish-American fencer looking to raise money to send his team to the Maccabiah Games, essentially the Jewish Olympics. A pro-wrestling fan and friend of Ken Patera and Iron Mike Sharper, Bukantz held the first Maccabiah Mania under a tent in his front yard, headlined by several legends of professional wrestling. If you're getting flashbacks to Heroes of Wrestling, there's a good reason for that.
