RAW vs Nitro #49 (9/23/96)

Welcome to another edition of RAW vs Nitro! Click here to read the last one if you missed it. So let's get into it, this is RAW vs Nitro #49. But first! A quick recap of In Your House: Mind Games, which happened the night before this episode of RAW Savio Vega defeated Justin Hawk Bradshaw in a Caribbean Strap match. During the match, we see some familiar faces in the crowd. Yep, that's the Sandman, Paul Heyman, and Tommy Dreamer sitting front row. Sandman even showed up in his zebra Zubaz. They don't just sit and watch the show either. During the match, Sandman spits beer on Vega before he & Dreamer try to hop the barricade. They end up getting escorted out of the arena as Vince McMahon calls them a local wrestling group trying to make a name for themselves at the expense of the WWF. This won't be the last time we see ECW wrestlers showing up on WWF TV. After this match, we see what appears to be Diesel & Razor Ramon attacking Savio Vega Jose L...

My Thoughts on NXT (6/7/17): Lars & The Real Jobber

Heavy Machinery vs Victor Andrews & Lars Sullivan- Just to clarify, Lars Sullivan is Dylan Miley, who made is debut two months ago . Before the match, Andrews cuts a picture-in-picture promo before the match, saying he's nervous about Sullivan, but this is the biggest opportunity of his career. Sullivan & Tucker Knight start off the match going back and forth before the two try to knock eachother down. Sullivan succeeds with a clothesline, only for Knight to come back with a dropkick. Sullivan responds with a standing powerslam before Andrews tags in. He is quickly taken down and bearhugged. Dozovic tags in and Knight tosses him Andrews for a bearhug of his own. Andrews fights out, only for Dozovic to hit a belly-to-belly suplex. Heavy Machinery squashes Andrews between themselves before Knight hits a hip toss and a corner splash. Heavy Machinery finishes Andrews off with the Compactor, where Dozovic picks up Andrews for a falling powerslam before Knight jumps on his b...

Shane says everyone who competes in this match a leaves a piece of themselves there before explaining how the Money in the Bank ladder match. Ellsworth stops him before Carmella says she'll win the briefcase. Charlotte interrupts her and thanks Shane on behalf of her opponents for allowing them to rub up against greatness. She is interrupted by Lana, making her SmackDown re-debut. Shane tells her it's not the right time for her to come out, but Lana says what works for her will make it work for him. My Thoughts on RAW (6/5/17): Worst Case Scenario

We kick off the show with Bray Wyatt. All I can think of now. He says last night was the beginning of the end and says "they" took his sword from and drove it through his heart. He says he is still alive and still the God he has always been. He says he's going to cast judgment on all who are guilty, such as Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns. He says they must all be punished, and Reigns is the first to be punished tonight. He is interrupted by Reigns, who rips the mic out of Wyatt's hand and says he's the guy. He then punches Wyatt for "running his mouth in his yard." Bray Wyatt vs Roman Reigns- Wyatt almost gets an instant Sister Abigail, but Reigns avoids it and punches Wyatt out of the ring before the commercial break. We come back to Wyatt beating down Reigns in the ring. Wyatt controls the match until Reigns hits a Samoan Drop for a near fall. Reigns hits three clotheslines, but Wyatt regains control by throwing Reign...

Welcome to another edition of RAW vs Nitro! Click here to read the last one if you missed it. So let's get into it, this is RAW vs Nitro #48. RAW Jake Roberts vs The Sultan with Bob Backlund & The Iron Sheik- We kick off the show with the debut of Rikishi's newest gimmick, the Sultan. His schtick is that he had his tongue cut out. That's about it. Before the match, Roberts chases Jerry Lawler away from the commentary table and up the ramp. The Sultan takes Roberts to the corner to start, only for Roberts to almost get a quick DDT. The Sultan rolls out of the ring to avoid it. Back in the ring, the two trade holds before Roberts hits a hip toss. The Sultan responds by forcing Roberts to the corner before headbutting Roberts' cut. The Sultan throws Roberts around the ring before Roberts tries for the DDT. However, Lawler distracts him by throwing a little bottle of alcohol at Roberts, allowing the Sultan to lock in the camel clutch for the submission win. Ba...
