- TM61 vs Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari-Tony Nese & Ariya Daivari from the Cruiserweight Classic making their NXT debut against TM-61. Thorne & Nese start off with Nese lighting up Thorne with kicks. Thorne quickly recovers and hits a hesitation dropkick before both men tag out. Miller & Daivari exchange strikes before Daivari sends Miller into the second turnbuckle. Nese then dropkicks Miller out of the ring and hits a twisting plancha, followed up by a somersault plancha by Thorne. TM61 work over Nese before Daivari distracts the referee and allows Nese to cheap shot Thorne in the throat. Nese & Daivari work over Thorne until Thorne blasts Daivari with a big uppercut. Nese is able to cut off Thorne from Miller before the commercial break. We come back to Daivari decking Thorne with a rolling elbow. Thorne is able to make the tag and Miller gets in. Miller & Nese exchange kicks before Miller dodges a knee and clotheslines, Nese. Thorne tags in and TM61 run through Nese, getting a near-fall in the process. Nese & Daivari take control again with a superkick from Daivari, followed by a sit out slam from Nese and a Frog Splash from Daivari, but Miller breaks up the tag. Miller & Nese get dished out of the ring before Thorne clotheslines Daivari, allowing TM61 to hit Thunder Valley for the win. Good match, Nese & Daivari worked great as a team.
- Tom Phillips has a sit-down interview with Asuka. She says Bayley fought hard, but she fought harder. She says she has beaten the entire division after Phillips lists off all the main roster women Asuka has beaten. She says she defends the title for both her & Japan before addressing her fans back in Japan. When Phillips asks if she thinks anyone is ready to face her for the title, she says no is ready for her.
- Steve Cutler gets interviewed. He says Shinsuke Nakamura hasn't sacrificed anything like he has. He says he doesn't care if people like him or not, but says people will respect him. Geez, this guy is trying to give The Drifter a run for his money as my least favorite wrestler in NXT
- Ember Moon vs Leah Von
Dutch-The two exchange wristlocks to start before Moon floors Von with a back elbow and flips out of an arm drag before locking in a headlock. Moon hits a springboard crossbody before Von hits a knee and a clothesline for a one count. Von works over Moon before screaming "I CAN BE ATHLETIC TOO!' and going for a handspring, which Moon counters with a roll up and a stiff kick. Moon hits a butterfly suplex followed by a handspring clothesline in the corner before hitting the O-Face, a diving corkscrew stunner, for the win. She is so impressive, one of the best female wrestlers in WWE right now. - No Way Jose gets interviewed. He says Bobby Roode disrespected him last week but says it's not the first time someone has disrespected him. He says Roode is going to find out why you don't mess with him.
- Tommaso Ciampa gets checked out by the trainer when Johnny Gargano walks up. He says William Regal has given them a tag match at the Cruiserweight Classic live special. They then say they're going to take the NXT Tag Team Championships from the Revival.
- Andrade "Cien" Almas vs Austin Aries-Almas finally ditched the entrance gear everyone hated for his t-shirt. I personally didn't mind it, but whatever. The two exchange holds to start before Aries escapes a headscissor and dropkicks Almas before laying on the top rope. Almas follows up with a sliding dropkick and a hurricanrana on Aries before Aries rolls out. Almas chases Aries around ringside and back in the ring, where Aries tries to throw Almas back out, only for Almas to do his pose in between the ropes. Almas back body drops Aries out of the ring and hits a corkscrew plancha for a near fall back in the ring. Almas goes to the top rope, but Aries pushes him off and to the outside before the commercial break. We come back to Aries beating down Almas. Aries mini-stomps Almas in the face before hitting a diving back elbow for a near fall. Almas hits a knee breaker, but Almas lands on his feet off the belly-to-back suplex and hits a superkick followed by a springboard dropkick. Almas calls for the running double knees, but Aries catches him with a running dropkick in the corner for a near fall. Aries sets Almas up on the top rope, but Almas knocks Aries down and hits the double jump moonsault for a near fall. The two trade blows before Almas counters a rolling elbow with a big boot and hip tosses Aries into the corner. Almas calls for the running double knees again, but Aries rolls out of the ring. Almas goes for the springboard crossbody, but Aries gets out of the way and counters Almas' springboard hurricanrana with a powerbomb before locking in Last Chancery for the win. Good match, Almas continues to be very impressive. I just wish he was able to get the crowd behind him.
- Another "Sanity" vignette plays. Still not sure what those are about, but my best guess is still Tommy End.
- Steve Cutler vs Shinsuke Nakamura-After teasing Cutler with light kicks, Nakamura counters a lock up with an inside kick before kneeing Cutler down. Nakamura gives Cutler Good Vibrations twice before Cutler hammers away on Nakamura. Nakamura counters a suplex attempt from Cutler and knees & strikes him into oblivion, following that up with an inverted exploder suplex followed by the Kinshasa for the win.
And that's about it. Overall, a pretty good episode of NXT. Two good matches even out the two squash matches to make the show pretty solid.
